JJ Kinahan

JJ is Regional CEO, IG North America.  Kinahan’s primary responsibility will be to help facilitate the development and delivery of innovative new offerings for retail investors as tastytrade’s market-leading online brokerage, tastyworks, and trading education platform continue to grow.

JJ was formerly Chief Market Strategist and Managing Director of market structure strategy and client advocacy, as well as Managing Director of Active Trading Services including Trading Platforms for TD Ameritrade. After their purchase by Charles Schwab, his responsibilities included all trading platforms at TD Ameritrade and Charles Schwab.

He began his career as a Chicago Board Options Exchange market maker, later holding positions with ING Bank and Van Der Moolen.

He serves as a member of the CBOE Advisory Board, SIFMA Options Committee and on the Board of Clearlist   He is a contributor for Forbes.com and frequent guest on CNBC and other business media outlets.
